CAUSES AND EFFECTS
Causes :
Causes of pollution to the Nile river may be from agriculture, for instance farmers put fertilizers and pesticides on their crops, so that their crops grow better. But these fertilizers and pesticides can be washed through the soil by rain to end in rivers . Fertilizers and pesticides are harmful because it cause algae to grow, then the algae destroy water plants. Factories is another factor why the Nile is polluted. Factories use water from the river to power machinery or to cool down machinery. Dirty water containing chemicals is in river . Water for cooling is warmer than the waters river, and this is also a form of pollution , also people are careless and they throw rubbish in the water and solid objects directly into the river... all these reasons are some causes why the Nile river is polluted.
Effects on surroundings :

The chemicals and dirts inside the water will effects the plants health and it wont last long .
Effects on animals :
When some animals like cow,sheep and dogs drink from the polluted water they get diseased and sick , also the sea creatures that lives in the river will die from the chemicals and poison they drank from the polluted water.
Effect on humans :
All Egyptians depends on the Nile river in drinking, agriculture ,domestic uses, they sail fish from it. So if its polluted, sadly the historical Nile river will be useless.
